The first 4 pictures is what the house looked like when we first looked at it.

Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh

The flight from the twin cities to Atlanta for our connect back to Pittsburgh was fairly unaventful, which is good. We did a good job picking seats that had a window that made it easy to look out.

Because we are cheep we booked our flights on Airtran, which had us going all the way down to Atlanta to get back to Pittsburgh. I think a direct flight would have been at least an hour less in flight time. No big deal, because Andrea and I don't get a chance to fly very often and it gave us a chance to see another city even if it was only from inside the airport.

Although there seemed like a large crown waiting at the gate, the plan was not very full and towards the back where we sat there were quite a few empty seats.

Picture out our windown as we started to taxi down to the runway.

Starting to line up for take-off.

We are finally settled in! Check back for more pictures and accounts from our trip.

We've moved!!!

Well I can see we don't keep this blog very up to date. To find out most of what is going on in our lives you may want to visit The Horner's MTB Adventures blog the link is in the right hand column of this page under Horners Links (the second one down) or you can just click on http://horner-mtb.blogspot.com/ and that will get you there also.

So for those of you who do not yet know we have moved out of Hutchinson. Small town USA was just something we could not handle any longer. That combined with the fact that almost everything we do is in the Twin Cities. So we moved to Savage. Matt is still working at HTI and catches a commuter van in Chaska (which is about 20 minutes from the house) most mornings and sleeps the rest of the way to work. This way we are actually home at our own house more often. Our house is a walk out rambler with 4 bedrooms and 1 extra room (like a bedroom but no window - it houses the weights and scrap booking stuff). The girls are now in separate bedrooms upstairs near us and the boys share the bigger bedroom in the basement. The kids are meeting lots of neighbor kids and are adjusting ok. The girls have great friends in Hutchinson and that made the move difficult for them. All 4 kids will go to the same school this fall which is only 2 blocks down the road. Wyatt starts kindergarten and will be going in the mornings everyday, Devon will be in 2nd grade, Taylor in 4th grade, and Jordan in 6th grade.

For now we are enjoying the summer Mountain bike racing every chance we get and fitting in a lot of household projects. Out house was built in 1995 we bought it from the original owner, although she was a single mom of 4 and did not know a lot about household maintenance so we have had and have left a lot of projects. So far we love our house and the view out the back yard is awesome. We back up to a 26 acre park and right behind us is all trees and wildlife, it is little swampy sometimes if we would walk in there a little ways, but we can't see that and it keeps people from walking back there. There are beautiful walking trails and all sorts of ball fields and playground equipment. I just love it because we know that no one will ever build right behind the house.

I will get some more pictures posted as soon as I can.
